Who We Are

Unit 11741 was founded after the October 7, 2023 terrorist attack in Israel. We were involved in lighter projects in the immediate aftermath of the attacks and eventually kicked into high gear several weeks later when the extensive lack of equipment within the ranks of the IDF became overwhelmingly clear and obvious. 

Out of security consideration, most of our team functions out of the public eye. Publicly, Daniel Mael, Chaya, T, O, O, S, S, and E are working hard every day to help ensure the safety of everyone on the front lines. 

Unit 11741 is in the process of attaining its 501(c)(3) status. In the interim, fiscal sponsorship is being generously provided by two non-profit organizations. Contributions are deductible under section 170 of the Code. These organizations are also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code. Organizations exempt under section 501 (c) (3) of the Code are further classified as either public charities or private foundations.
